I heart Trader Joe’s: Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza
4 Ingredients 20 minutes.
1 package Asparagus
2 Organic Chicken Breasts, cut into very thin strips
1 jar Trader Joe’s Tikka Masala ( a runner up to Sukhi’s)
Get your oven as hot as you can. While it’s preheating quickly cook the chicken breasts in the Tikka Masala sauce on the stove top, making sure not to over cook. Prep the asparagus by cutting the stem off at the snapping point and jullene into thick pieces, toss in olive oil and salt and broil on the topshelf of your oven which should still be preheating.
Stretch out your pizza dough using corn meal until it is very thin and still had a ring of crust on the outside. Place on a sheet pan and top with masala sauce, chicken, and the asparagus that should have started to caramelize. Bake pizza for 12 minutes or until the bottom is crispy. Crack open a beer, turn on the TV and say good bye to this week’s “flop chef.”
